What is Mountain Shuttle?
Mountain Shuttle is a locally owned for-hire based taxi/high occupancy transportation service. We have been in continuous service to the community since 2015.
What kind of services does Mountain Shuttle provide?
We provide a series of services for the local and visiting communities, such as: Glacier Park Intl Airport & Amtrak Depot shuttles, Whitefish Mountain Resort ski groups, regional tours, golfing excursions, and wedding transportation.
How many passengers can Mountain Shuttle accommodate?
Unlike the average taxi or rideshare business, not only do we utilize minivans for general customers, we have a generous fleet of roomy 12 & 14 passenger vans, with storage space. We have the resources and logistics capability to handle large sizes of groups with luggage, gear, or skis.
Where is Mountain Shuttle’s operating area?
Mountain Shuttle is based out of Whitefish, Montana in the beautiful Flathead Valley. Our services mainly focus on the extreme Northwestern region of Montana around Glacier Park Intl Airport (FCA, KGPI). We also provide long distance services, such as: Western & Eastern sides of Glacier National Park, Canadian border crossings, and services South to Missoula (Missoula Intl Airport MSO).
Can Mountain Shuttle go anywhere in Montana?
Glacier National Park has restrictions and limitations imposed on general commercial services. Going to the Sun Road between: Lake McDonald Lodge and the Rising Sun boat dock on the East side of Logan pass is restricted to general transportation services without proper permits (Thru-traffic is prohibited). All GNP North of Camas Rd and East of Polebridge, MT is restricted to general transportation services as well.
Is Mountain Shuttle a 24 hour service?
Our services are available 24 hours a day, 365(6) days a year for customer service requests. Mountain Shuttle emphasizes all customer reservations, especially Glacier Park Intl Airport & Amtrak customers regardless of the time of day.
How do I request services or receive a quote?
You can either place your request online at mountainshuttlemt.com, or you can contact us at 406-212-2149. Our staff will respond to your inquiry at their earliest convenience. Montana is located in the Mountain Time Zone (UTC-07:00). Our response time may vary depending on your geographical location.
How do I pay for my services?
Mountain Shuttle reserves its customer services on a prepayment basis. After we process your request, we will send you an invoice via email and/or text messaging for requested services. Once you pay for your service(s), your service(s) are guaranteed.
Can I request service(s) for someone else?
Absolutely! When you request our services, we will still need your name, phone number, and email to invoice you. In the reservation request via website special notes section or if text messaging your request, include the passenger’s name and contact wireless phone # so our staff can contact them upon arrival.
What if my flight or train arrival is late?
Mountain Shuttle monitors arrival statuses of its reserved customers. We will make all efforts to accommodate your delays.
What is Mountain Shuttle’s cancellation policy?
Unless road access is restricted by the state or local law enforcement, Mountain Shuttle will not cancel on any customer’s reservation regardless of the time, weather, or road conditions . We have trained, experienced employees scheduled for all of our reservations to fulfill customer’s transportation needs.
What is Mountain Shuttle’s refund policy?
We will refund any gratuity you have added to your service invoice. All service costs and surcharges are credit for the services. If you request to cancel your service outside of 7 calendar days, we will issue you 50% of your service credit back. ALL withheld credit will be applied towards any future services you request with Mountain Shuttle. This policy is in place because we may be required to decline other customer service requests for the same date and time of your reservation(s).
